Philippine Travel Advisory

Simple entry protocols to the Philippines continue to be in effect. Based on the latest guidelines from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)IATF 168 (IATF full guidelines attached for reference) and corresponding update.

1. Passengers must have:

  • a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken at most 48 hours before departure from the first embarkation point; or
  • a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken at most 24 hours before departure from the first embarkation point.

This does not apply to:

  • passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated and received a booster dose. This exemption also applies to their accompanying minors under 12 years. Vaccines accepted are: AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Convidecia (CanSinoBio), Covishield, Covaxin, Covovax, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm and Sinovac;
  • passengers between 12 years and 17 years with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 15 days before departure from the first embarkation point. Vaccines accepted are: AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Convidecia (CanSinoBio), Covishield, Covaxin, Covovax, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm and Sinovac;

2. Passengers must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 15 days before departure from the first embarkation point. Vaccines accepted are: AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Convidecia (CanSinoBio), Covishield, Covaxin, Covovax, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm and Sinovac.
NOTE: Traveler who failed to comply with above requirements will be subjected to a facility-based quarantine (with arrival date as Day 1) until the release of their Negative RT-PCR test taken on the fifth (5th) day.

3.

  • In response to the IATF directive, the One Health Pass is officially replaced with the electronic ARRIVAL CARD (eARRIVAL CARD).
  • All travelers are encouraged to fill up the eARRIVAL CARD within 72 hours prior departure at the country of origin to avoid inconvenience upon arrival.
  • Registration is FREE OF CHARGE and neither require nor collect any online payment. BEWARE of fake, fraudulent, or a scam websites and entities who requires payment from the travelers.

4. Visa exemptions have been reinstated.

5. Suspension of all visas on arrival facilities.
