 SHOWCASE SESSION

From Ideas to Impact – European Transport Solutions
21 May 2026, Thursday
11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Auditorium Hall 2

Asia and the Pacific faces a convergence of acute crises and structural challenges that demand urgent, innovative responses. The disruption of key maritime chokepoints has exposed the fragility of regional supply chains and underscored the cost of energy and logistics dependence. At the same time, escalating climate events, rapid urbanization, and the imperative to decarbonize freight and mobility networks are placing unprecedented demands on transport infrastructure and governance. In this context, European firms operating at the frontier of sustainable and intelligent transport will present not theoretical concepts, but proven, scalable solutions ready for deployment in the Asia-Pacific context.

Through engaging presentations, case studies, and interactive discussions, this session offers an opportunity to explore these innovative solutions. By identifying synergies between European expertise and regional challenges, this session seeks to catalyze collaboration and inspire transformative action toward a sustainable transport future.

By the end of the session, participants will:

  1. Discover proven, ready-to-deploy solutions to address pressing transport challenges in the region.
  2. Recognize how integrating resilience, sustainability, and innovation is essential for future-proof transport systems.
  3. Explore how cross-regional collaboration between Europe and Asia-Pacific can accelerate scaling of impactful solutions.
