The Asian Development Bank (ADB) organized the 2020 Asian Regional Public Debt Management and Foreign Exchange Reserves Management Forum (the Forum), which was held on 9–12 November 2020. This Forum is a combination of the Asian Regional Public Debt Management Forum and the Asian Regional Forum on Investment Management of Foreign Exchange Reserves which have been conducted annually as separate forums. The Forum was held online in a virtual format.
As part of ADB's regional technical assistance (TA), the Forum aims to contribute to the strengthening of public debt management, promote effective reserve management frameworks of ADB members and promote networking among public debt and reserve managers in the region. The Forum will also serve as an opportunity for public debt and reserve managers to exchange views with their counterparts from across the region and discuss developments on issues related to public debt management and investment management of foreign exchange reserves during the current pandemic crisis.
