A visit to the Malolos-Clark Railway Project (MCRP), a flagship component of the North-South Commuter Railway Extension (NSCR-Ex) and one of the largest railway undertakings in the Philippines. This trip provides insight into modern railway construction, prefabrication techniques, and the institutional capacity-building efforts underpinning the country's rail transformation. Participants will explore multiple active project sites across Pampanga, Bulacan, and Metro Manila — including the Clark Depot, the Clark International Airport (CRK) Station, the Prefabrication Yard in Apalit, and the Precast Segmental Box Girders Assembly Area in Calumpit — before concluding at the Philippine Railway Institute in Valenzuela City, gaining firsthand knowledge of how large-scale rail infrastructure is being designed, built, and supported by a new generation of Filipino railway professionals.
