This session will provide a strategic overview of ADB's evolving support to the transport sector across Asia and the Pacific. Bringing together senior ADB leadership and representatives from developing member countries (DMCs), the session will showcase ADB's transport portfolio, highlighting operational experience, private sector engagement, procurement and portfolio performance, financial structuring, and risk management approaches that underpin project delivery.
Session speakers will reflect on innovations, practical modalities, and lessons from country collaboration, while exploring emerging opportunities to strengthen sustainable, inclusive, resilient, and low-carbon transport systems.
By the end of the session, participants will:
Understand ADB's support model combining sovereign and non-sovereign investments, financial structuring, portfolio management, and institutional strengthening.
