Zhandos Kerimkulov is the founder and the CEO of EGISTIC. EGISTIC uses space images provided by the European Space Agency to analyse the agricultural field characteristics and performance. Its typical clients are Kazakh grain producers (animal feed and exports), with large fields (up to 20,000 ha).

Mr. Zhandos together with his wife Mrs Nailya who works with him, will share their experience of working in the private sector during the COVID-19 pandemic, its impact on the company and observations on the challenges for digitalization in Kazakhstan.

Mr. Kerimkulov graduated from the Kazakh National Technical University K. Satpayev with a degree in IT and worked in various institutions in the space industry in multiple countries before starting his own business that is supported by the EBRD.
