Yumiko Kanemitsu is the Regional Evaluation Officer for Regional Bureau for Asia and the Pacific of the United Nations World Food Program (WFP). In her current function, she has been supporting 15 Country Offices in conducting Decentralized Evaluations on the topics of SDG2: Zero Hunger, including school feeding, nutrition, humanitarian aid, climate change and resilience. 

Prior to joining WFP, she had worked for UN Women as an evaluation officer, and human rights and gender responsive programme designs and evaluations have been her core principles. She has been engaged in many gender and feminist networks to have dialogues with people working in various sectors on inclusive development and respect diversities.
