Sheikh Muhammad Mohsin, working as Additional Chief Engineer (Planning, Design and Research) at Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) under Local Government Division (LGD) of Ministry of Local Government Rural Development and Cooperatives.

Mr. Mohsin is from Bangladesh and is graduated in Civil Engineering in 1987. He completed his master’s degree In Geotechnical Engineering from BUET, Dhaka and in Construction Management from The University of Birmingham, UK.

Mr. Mohsin Joined in LGED during 1988. He has long 32 years experiences as Executive Engineer, Project Director, Superintending and Additional Chief engineer at different level. He appointed as Project Director of IFAD financed Sunamgang Community Based Resource Management Project (SCBRMP) that was continued for 12 years and awarded first IFAD Gender Award 2013 for the Asia Pacific Region. Now he is contributing to policy level of designing of many projects financed by GOB and international development partners in LGED, under LGD of Bangladesh.
