H.E Mr Sani Redi Ahmed is State Minister of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture, Ethiopia. In the Ministery of Agriculture, Irrigation development, food security, Land Administration and Utilization, Natural Resource Conservation and Development, Soil fertility improvement and Rural job opportunity creation are under his leadership. H.E Mr Ahmed's professional background is MA in Governance and Development Study (Development Management). He has extensive experience in Ethiopian Agriculture sector. Prior to this current position, he had served by the rank of State Ministrial Director General for Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority. He was Vice President and Head of Bureau of Agriculture in Southern Nations, Nationalist and Peoples Regional State (SNNPRS). Since 2010 he has been a member of the National House of Federation and a Regional Parliament in SNNPRS.He also led as Chair for Board of Directors for many Universities and Public institutions.
