Rob Fowler is an expert in sustainable finance and green bonds with more than 25 years of international experience in climate change, sustainability, energy, utilities, heavy industry, oil & gas, infrastructure financing, regulatory regimes, and capital raising. Most recently, Rob worked for five years with the Climate Bonds Initiative where he assisted hundreds of green bond issuers, bankers, investors and verifiers to navigate the new world of sustainable finance. Rob is based in Australia and has lived and worked in a number of Asian countries. In addition to his engagement with the Asian Development Bank, he is part of the team at CICERO Shades of Green. He is a member of the Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative and serves on a number of ISO groups driving the development of international standards for sustainable finance.
