Poppy Widyasari is a Senior Research Manager at J-PAL Southeast Asia. She has extensive experience working on large-scale randomized evaluations on several government programs in Indonesia, which require strong collaboration and relationship building with numerous government institutions. Her most recent experience includes assisting in the evaluation of the Raskin reform, which is one of Indonesia's largest social assistance program, now known as the Non-Cash Food Social Assistance/BPNT or Program Sembako. Currently, she is working to support the implementation Kartu Prakerja (Pre-employment card) impact evaluation, a novel semi-social assistance program implemented by the government of Indonesia since 2020. She also co-authored a chapter on Using Administrative Data to Improve Social Protection in Indonesia in the Handbook on Using Administrative Data for Research and Evidence-Based Policy (IDEA Handbook), supported by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
