Nassreena Sampaco-Baddiri

Nassreena Sampaco-Baddiri is Country Director for Innovations for Poverty Action in the Philippines, where she is chief manager of IPA’s diverse portfolio of rigorous evaluations, collaborating with partners to advocate for evidence use in policymaking in the education, social protection and governance sectors. Since 2013, she has overseen more than 40 completed and ongoing research and policy outreach projects in the Philippines and has led capacity building programs for government and non-government partners on impact evaluations and M&E. She has extensive experience working in various government departments as well as policy research NGOs, and in the academe as Senior Lecturer at the University of the Philippines, Diliman. Nassreena holds a Doctorate Degree in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, has an MA in Development Studies from the University of Manchester, a Masters in International Studies and a BA in Political Science from the University of the Philippines, Diliman. She has been named one of Manila’s 40 under 40 International Development Leaders by DevEx in 2013 and UK Education Ambassador for the Philippines by the British Embassy, Manila in 2015.
