A.K.M. Luthfur Rahman is the Additional Chief Engineer & Director, Climate Resilient Local Infrastructure Centre, Local Government Engineering Department (LGED), Dhaka , Bangladesh since July 2020. Before that he was posted in various positions as a public official in LGED for last 30 years and gained practical experience on infrastructure development in respect of construction management, procurement, project management, climate change, disaster management etc. He was previously acting as Project Director of IFAD, ADB and KFW co-financing Coastal Climate Resilient Infrastructure Project (CCRIP) in Bangladesh. He obtained his Bsc. in Civil Engineering from BUET in Bangladesh and Msc. in Planning Studies from Oxford Brookes University, UK.
