Amin Abdullahi joined the Islamic Development Bank in 2015 and is currently working as a Senior Evaluation Specialist in the Operations Evaluation Department (OED). He has 14 years of professional work experience covering project planning, monitoring, and evaluation. He has a particular interest in food security programs, focusing on rural development, poverty alleviation, and international development. At OED, he led and contributed to several project evaluations, country assistance evaluations, program evaluations, thematic evaluations, and on-demand evaluations in many regions.

Amin is an IPDET-trained evaluator and holds master’s degrees in Evaluation from Saarland University in Germany and Development Studies from Haramaya University in Ethiopia.
