Mr. Alok Mishra is a Civil Servant from India with over 20 years of experience. He is currently posted as Deputy Director General in the Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office in NITI Aayog – Federal Government’s Policy Think Tank, where he oversees monitoring and evaluation studies of government schemes, external engagement and capacity building. He has served as Senior Deputy Director and faculty at the Indian Civil Service Academy – LBSNAA, Mussoorie, where he taught Economics, Management, Evidence-based policy and media communication. Mr. Mishra has also worked as Director (IITs & IIITs) and as Director (International Cooperation) in the Federal Ministry of Education. He was member of Finance Committees and Board of Governors of IITs and IIITs. He also served as Secretary, Indian National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO. Mr. Mishra is B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi and a Gold Medallist of PG in Public Policy & Management from IIM Bangalore & Syracuse University, USA.
