Promoting a greener and more resilient Asia and the Pacific requires strong private sector participation. Capital markets can play a catalytic role in an otherwise bank-based financial system in the region, where the conditions for mutual benefit are met. This session will discuss how capital markets may be empowered to effectively mobilize sustainable finance from the private sector to support the region’s transition to sustainable development.
