Day 1 – Session A1: Mobilizing MSME Financing for Green and Inclusive Development

Tina Rohner, Senior Investment Specialist at ADB
Tina Rohner is currently a Senior Investment Specialist in ADB’s Private Sector Financial Institutions Division (PSFI). She joined ADB in 2014 and is currently based in Tbilisi, Georgia, where she leads PSFI’s origination business in the Caucasus (Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan). Tina has deep transaction experience across ADB’s Central and West region, having led numerous debt transactions across the region. Prior to joining ADB, Tina spent 5 years working for Goldman Sachs in Singapore and San Francisco.
 
Tina is a national of Germany and Austria, holds a Master in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, a Master in Public Administration from Sciences Po Paris, a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts from Converse University in Spartanburg, SC, USA, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).



Qamar Saleem, Head, SME Finance Forum   
QAMAR SALEEM leads the world’s most prominent SME Finance center for knowledge exchange, solution building, innovation, best practice transfer and public-private dialogue. Prior to this role, Qamar was heading Financial Institutions Group Advisory Services for Asia and Pacific driving a large team across Asia and Pacific aimed at providing integrated investment/advisory client solutions across mainly MSME, Gender, Climate, Digital, Housing, Trade, and Supply Chain Finance. Qamar has been with IFC since 2012 and served in his previous roles as global technical lead for SME and Supply Chain Finance as well as regional SME Banking lead for EMENA.



Sonika Manandhar, Co-Founder and CTO, Aloi Global 
Sonika Manandhar, the Co-Founder and CTO of Aloi, stands at the intersection of technology, social impact, and sustainable development. With a background in computer engineering and international training in Silicon Valley and Korea, Sonika brings a global perspective to her role. She drives Aloi's mission to reshape the fintech landscape to make informal green sector microentrepreneurs more investable, specifically in electric transportation and agriculture.

In addition to her technological expertise, Sonika is committed to addressing pressing global issues. She has been recognized for her contributions, earning accolades from UNCDF, UNESCAP, Welthungerhilfe, and Standard Chartered Ventures. As a 2019 UN Young Champion of the Earth and a 2020 National Geographic Emerging Explorer, Sonika has demonstrated her dedication to creating positive change on a global scale. Her experience extends beyond the fintech sector, as she actively contributes to global conversations on bridging the financing gap to sustainable development in platforms such as the UN General Assembly, Asian Financial Institution Forums, National Geographic Storytelling camps, and UN Global Compact conferences



Vineet Sukumar, Founder and Managing Director, Vivitri Group

Tran Hoai Phuong, Director of Corporate Banking, Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank 
Mr Tran Hoai Phuong Joining HDBank in 2019, Mr. Tran Hoai Phuong has assumed the role of Head of Corporate Banking since December 31, 2020 and a member of the Board of Management. He had accumulated more than 30 years of experience serving in leadership positions or Board of Management at major international financial institutions such as Standard Chartered, Citi and BNP Paribas. He had also served as Deputy CEO at several local banks including Techcombank, TPBank and OCB. He is particularly well-versed in building solutions and developing relationships with large corporations, multinational corporations, import-export financing, and supply chain financing platforms.  
 
Experience in Banking: over 30 years, 06 years with HDBank.  
Education: Bachelor of Foreign Trade – University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (1989-1994), 1 year studying abroad on the Maîtrise program in International Economics at Université Aix-Marseille II (1994). 



Nilgun Osman, Head of Investor Relations and Sustainability, IsBank Turkey 
Ms. Osman is the Head of Investor Relations and Sustainability at Turkiye Is Bankasi since 2023. With more than 25 years of experience in finance, she has held senior roles in Financial Institutions Department, specializing in sustainable financing and structured finance, including managing international borrowings. She began her career at Turkiye Is Bankasi in 1997 and holds a degree in Business Administration from Bilkent University.
