The panel will focus on how digital innovation is already helping offset global COVID-19 impacts in many areas and how it will be an integral part of longer-term economic recovery as we try to grapple to identify the “New Normal”. The panelists will discuss how governments, NGOs, busi-nesses, and individuals have been embracing digital solutions to cope with the challenges of COVID-19. With the specter of the pandemic not going away anytime soon, the panelists will also discuss how to build back better and spur inclusive economic growth in the “New Normal” by us-ing digital solutions. The panelists will also provide their “vision for the future”.
Call to Action Dialogue: “Creating an Inclusive Digital Agenda for the Future”
The panel will focus on how “Innovation through Collaboration” is needed more than ever to help Southeast Asia deal with the economic fallout from COVID-19. The panel will discuss how the private and public sectors in the region have turned to digital solutions as the go-to item in their toolbox to jump-start economies. The panelists will provide real stories of impact and highlight how their work is making a significant dent in efforts to address current and future challenges. The panelists will also discuss how Southeast Asia can best take advantage of digital tools, and what policies are needed to ensure inclusive and sustainable recovery. Lastly, panelists will give their insights on what Southeast Asia’s digitalization will encompass for the future.
