International Youth Day
The theme of this year’s International Youth Day is “Youth Engagement for Global Action.” This year, we aim to highlight the numerous ways youth are engaged at a local, national and global level, and how this meaningful engagement of youth has significantly improved the lives of people across the globe.
But—of course—it does not end here.
We continue to enhance the representation and meaningful engagement of youth in multiple sectors concerning intersecting thematic areas as we move forward to unprecedented times.
As we know now, Youth Engagement means a lot of things to different people. In a series of interviews conducted in the 11th UNESCO Youth Forum, we get a better understanding of what youth engagement means to them.
But what does Youth Engagement mean to you? You may use the template below to sound off on social media:
“On #YouthDay, we focus on Youth Engagement for Global Action. To me, Youth Engagement means [your personal definition of Youth Engagement]. What do YOUth think? #APYS2020 #YouthforGlobalAction”
