SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
 

Authors should submit a 500-1000-word extended abstract highlighting the motivation, data, methodology, initial findings (if any), and expected policy implications for a policy relevant research paper related to the theme. Submissions should include the following details:

  • Title of research
  • Name of author(s) and affiliation(s) 

Authors of selected abstracts should submit a draft paper (5,000-8,000 words) to share with discussants by 8 April 2024, presentation materials (for a 20-25 minute presentation) by 13 May 2024, and commit to in-person or virtual participation during the conference on 20-21 May 2024. The material should discuss policy recommendations based on the research insights. The papers will be considered for publication in a special section of the Journal of International Money and Finance (JIMF) in 2024, following a fast-track review process.

Selection Criteria 

Submissions will be judged based on criteria such as:

  • Originality/Contribution
  • Analytical Rigor
  • Policy relevance in Emerging Markets context 

The authors must certify that the submitted entry is original and has not been previously published or made publicly available. They must also certify that the submitted entry does not infringe on any copyright, privacy rights, or legal rights of any third party.
