The Integrated Water Resource Information and Management System supports stakeholders in making data-driven decisions by providing information and allowing them to manage the system.

The key features of the system are:

  • One authoritative system for all water related data: supply, demand, environmental factors, etc.;
  • Comprehensive and integrated visibility: near real-time visibility of 90% of the water resource; and
  • Water planning & water management: drought and flood proofing, efficiency, and transparency.

Agriculture support: crop planning, crop stress, irrigation, and pests management. The Andhra Pradesh Water Resources Information Management System (APWRIMS), in particular, has won many accolades, including three prizes at the National Water Mission Awards 2019.

It has been recognized by NITI Aayog and the Ministry of Water Resources of the Government of India. The technology secured Vassar Labs the best consultancy award in water sector in 2020 from the Central Board of Irrigation and Power.
