Technology Profile

AQUADVANCED® Software Suite is a digital platform that acts as a decision support system developed specifically for water operators. AQUADVANCED® uses data from diverse sources—e.g., sensors, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), geographic information system (GIS), hydraulic models, etc.—and algorithms to offer insights and recommendations for operators.
  • Water networks, to efficiently manage drinking water networks (flow, pressure, water quality, leak detection, nonrevenue water reduction) 
  • Energy, to optimize energy in drinking water production systems to lower operating expenditure (OPEX) 
  • Plant, to better operate treatment plants by optimizing chemicals and energy consumption and ensuring environmental compliance 
  • Urban drainage, to effectively manage flood risks, minimize combined sewer overflows and optimize OPEX and capital expenditure

SUEZ also has an Internet-of-Thing (IoT) solution, based on the 169 MHz radio frequency, called On’Connect, which can be deployed for smart water meters and other smart cities applications. On’Connect is proven for large scale deployment (over 4 million connected meters), and offers long battery life (15 years), high signal penetration, and great flexibility (meter-agnostic).

AssetAdvanced is an asset management optimizer. By using multiple data sources including current asset condition to compute the risk of failure (probability and impact), AssetAdvanced is able to provide an optimal asset renewal plan which prolongs the asset lifespan and maximizes the return on investment for asset owners.

These technologies have been proven and can be applied in large scale projects.
