Technology Profile

Manila Water Total Solutions (MWTS) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Manila Water Company, Inc. and it is envisioned by the Manila Water Enterprise to undertake environmentally-sustainable projects. Its current offerings are various after the meter services that create and deliver innovative solutions for hard-to-notice yet difficult problems of customers and communities as well as vertical expansion through the creation of innovative products and services.

MWTS, with LG Petro Prime and Packetworx, Inc, aim to ensure resiliency in water distribution in this new normal when we face uncertainty and everchanging business conditions by providing end to end solutions:



  • Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) - an integrated system of wireless smart water meters and sensors through a communication network to ensure remote and real time monitoring of data.
  • LoRaWAN (Long Range Wireless Area Network) will be the communication technology used for the AMI solution in partnership with Packetworx, Inc.- the only Network Provider, IoT Device Manufacturer, and Software Platform Provider under one brand in the region. LoRaWAN is a long range, low power wireless platform that has become the preferred technology for Internet of Things (IoT) networks worldwide.
  • Data Visualization Dashboard - remotely monitor needed data using a data visualization dashboard to ensure efficient water utility operations.
