Technology Profile

Dryp sensors feature:

  • advanced software sensors for calculating flows, overflows, wet-index, infiltration, etc.;
  • Internet of Things (IoT) water-level sensors;
  • IoT data loggers with SDI-12 interface to a range of instrumentation; and
  • integration with remote sensing data (weather, radar, satellite, numerical weather prediction) with quantified uncertainties.

These sensors are developed in close collaboration with utilities in Denmark, and are aimed at lowering the total cost of ownership of a data point and maximizing the total value creation of new and existing data points.

Dryp considers the technology disruptive to the traditional way of doing things and believes that the focus on information and value from data, in combination with deterministic modelling and planning, goes hand in hand. In areas where new infrastructure is being planned and installed, Dryp can help ensure a continuous learning and adaptation process and pave the way for optimal use of infrastructure in smart real-time management.
