Day 2: Dialogue 3: Powered Two-and Three-Wheeler(PTW) Friendly Road Systems

Description                Group exploration of how road infrastructure and speed must be planned, designed and operated to account for PTWs and what major shift will be needed to close this gap. Participants will work in small groups to critique the current state of motorcycle safety, the desired future state and the strategies needed for change.

  • Make clear the gaps between current state road infrastructure and speed and what is needed to ensure safe PTW use
  • Enable participants to understand the opportunities for planning and designing infrastructure to ensure safe PTW travel.
