About Us XDI was created with the vision to shift the dial on climate Change. Its purpose is to drive action in government, industry, and the financial sector to address climate change impacts on built infrastructure. Government, financial, insurance, and consultancy sectors are among those contributing to the growing demand for high-quality physical climate risk reporting. Assets prone to failure caused by increasing climate risk should be assessed and made more resilient to avoid asset failure, revenue loss, and potential loss of life. Our Solution XDI has responded to this challenge by developing products and services that can not only deliver the world's most detailed physical climate risk assessments but also analysis on any upstream or downstream dependencies assets may have. XDI undertakes two types of physical risk analysis using its probabilistic computational “climate risk engines.” The first is Asset-related Structural Analysis and the second is Hazard Probability Analysis. XDI's analysis considers 10 different climate change exacerbated hazards to determine acute and chronic risk to property and infrastructure. Key water related hazards analyzed include coastal inundation, pluvial, and fluvial flooding. Over 120 individual asset types have used XDI's physical risk analysis. This includes ports, water utilities, wastewater infrastructure, and more. A major project includes Sydney Water, case study found here: https://xdi.systems/adaptwater-utility-scale-asset-management/ |
