About Primus Line

Rädlinger primus line GmbH is an internationally oriented enterprise with headquarters in Cham in the Upper Palatinate. The family-managed, medium-sized company produces the Primus Line® system for the trenchless rehabilitation of pressure pipes which has been developed in-house.

Primus Line relies on the know-how of its employees, which has grown over decades, going back to the beginning of development in 1996 and absorbing many influences from research on the way to market maturity in 2001. This knowledge also gave rise to the innovative plant for the vertical production of the liner and the logistics warehouse ideally suited to its handling.

With permanent branches in the United States, Canada, Australia and China, Primus Line moves even closer to its customers and partners around the world.

Our Solutions

The Primus Line® system, an innovative relining solution for the trenchless rehabilitation of pressure pipes, consists of a flexible, aramid-reinforced liner and specially developed end fittings. Clients benefit from long insertion lengths of up to 2,500 m in one single step and the product’s ability to traverse bends of up to 45 degrees. Primus Line® is not bonded to the host pipe and is self-supporting. An annulus remains between Primus Line® and the host pipe.

Small construction pits, short rehabilitation times and the low level of impact on the environment, make Primus Line® the ideal technology for the rehabilitation of defective lines in sensitive environments. Developed by experienced engineers and more than 20 years in business, the system is suitable for various application needs and has already proven itself in numerous projects.

 Its multi-layer structure, as well as the small wall-thickness, make Primus Line® the ideal system for the trenchless rehabilitation of pressure pipes: Stable and secure, with diverse areas of application and high levels of efficiency. The outer layer consists of an abrasion-resistant polyethylene (PE) sheath to protect the liner during installation. The fabric consists of seamless woven aramid fibers, which accommodate the operating pressure. The inner coating is made from PE.
