The Asian Development Bank (ADB) South Asia Department (SARD), in partnership With Observable HQ, has launched the Visualizing Climate Change & Resilience Challenge to seek creative data visualization techniques to make the importance of addressing climate change more accessible to ADB's government counterparts and global decision-makers.

The challenge culminates in a Final Showcase Event on December 2, 2022, when five finalist teams will demonstrate their data stories to a live audience. The challenge received nearly a hundred registered participants and 18 completed submissions, and five shortlisted data stories went through a mentoring phase during which the finalist teams improved their solutions with the help of multiple and diverse expert mentors.

Catch the opportunity to see innovative forms of data visualization in climate change and resilience, and exchange views and ideas on how high-quality data visualization solutions can drive policy decisions in developing member countries
The selected solution will be announced at the end of the event and the finalist team will have the potential to design and deliver workshops on data literacy and visualization to ADB Staff and selected developing member country representatives in South Asia.
