VINCENT LAZATIN is currently the National Coordinator of Bantay Kita, Inc. Prior to joining Bantay Kita, Vincent was the Executive Director of the Transparency and Accountability Network (TAN). TAN was a network of civil society organizations, academic institutions, research organizations and think tanks that work on good governance and anti-corruption. As the head of TAN since 2006, Vincent Lazatin has been a part of many multi-stakeholder groups and initiatives on good governance, such as: Galing Pook Foundation, current Board Member, Construction Sector Transparency Initiative, Philippines, former Chairman, Construction Sector Transparency Initiative - Global Program (based in London), Board Member, Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, Philippines, former Alternate Board Member, Bantay Kita, Board Member, Civil Society Coalition on the UN Convention against Corruption (based in Berlin) former Chairman,Bantay Lansangan, former Executive Director As a leader of many civil society organizations and initiatives.
Vincent Lazatin has facilitated and/or chaired many multi-stakeholder meetings, planning sessions and dialogs, managing many points of views, and building consensus.
Prior to joining TAN, Vincent worked 17 and a half years in the fund management industry both in the United States and Philippines. In the Philippines, he managed some of the pioneering mutual funds. He was responsible for managing the stock market investments several mutual funds. He was a member of the boards of the Investment Company Association of the Philippines (now the Philippine Investment Funds Association of the Philippines) and the Fund Manager's Association of the Philippines.
