John is the Head of the Office of Anticorruption and Integrity at Asian Development Bank (ADB) since December 2017. The Office promotes institutional integrity and supports ADB’s fight against corruption and illicit financial flows through activities aimed at (i) enforcement (such as investigation of staff misconduct, integrity violations on ADB-financed projects and application of related sanctions), and (ii) prevention and compliance (such as integrity due diligence, project integrity reviews and capacity development). The Office advises on adherence to the tax integrity policy provisions of ADB’s Anticorruption policy and offers capacity building programs to ADB member countries that seek to adopt international standards on tax integrity and tax transparency.
