ADB’s and SSGA’s financial sector specialists and lead experts for ESG investments will engage in a discussion with policy makers, regulators, financial institutions, and business leaders from the Asia Pacific Region and Europe on challenges developing Asian countries are facing to introduce and enhance sustainable financial market efficiency and market integrity.

The event will have three webinar discussions on opportunities for Asia Pacific to leapfrog and avoid potential pitfalls by building on the lessons from Europe and the United States.
Each webinar will focus on one important stakeholder group in the process: on financial market regulators, institutional investors and securities issuers.

The webinar will conclude with recommendations for improvements that can assist in bridging the funding gap for sustainable development and achieving the SDGs and Agenda 2030.
