Ramon is an independent consultant and also currently an adjunct professor at the Center for Development Management at the Asian Institute of Management. His expertise is in environment and climate change management; land, water and renewable energy resources management; urban and regional planning and infrastructure development; project economics; program management; and institutional capacity strengthening. He has over 35 years of work experience, including over 100 consulting projects for clients such as the Asian Development Bank, World Bank, UN agencies, and bilateral agencies like the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Besides his consulting career, Ramon has held teaching roles at the University of California-Berkeley Department of City and Regional Planning, and in the College of Engineering and School of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of the Philippines. |
