Mean is a Senior Project Officer and Trainer at the Cambodian Disabled People’s Organisation. He has extensive experience in advocacy and training for the disability movement in Cambodia.

His training experience comprises Inclusion of Disability into the Governance Training of Trainers on WASH (WaterAid); Training of Trainer on Sexual Health and Reproductive Health (GIZ); Disability Inclusion to Hotel Staff in Phnom Penh; Inclusive Development and Disability Awareness (Engineers Without Borders); Inclusive WASH for local and international NGOs implementing programs in Cambodia; and training for staff of the National Electoral Commission, Phnom Penh International Airport, and the private sector.

He has also been a co-facilitator of the Disability Inclusive Development Master Class of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia (DFAT), and a co-facilitator on Inclusive WASH (WASH Skills Development Organisation).

Mean is an advocate for the human rights of all people (disability, non-disability, and minority ethnic groups) and lobbies relevant stakeholders and policy developers to include persons with disabilities in development.
