Laxmi is currently with South Asia Urban Development and Water Division at Asian Development Bank. An engineer with over 20 years of experience on integrated urban planning and development, water and sanitation, solid waste management, inclusive city development, urban transport sector, and infrastructure and service financing models, she is skilled in multi-stakeholder driven development; project design, processing, and management; and application of technologies.

Laxmi holds a Master of Engineering degree from the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok. She has an extensive strategic as well as field-level acquired knowledge in urban, water and sanitation. She has multi-cultural working experience in multiple countries including Georgia, India, Kyrgyz Republic, Maldives, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, and Thailand.
