Jingmin is the Director for the Urban Development, Water Supply, and Sanitation Division of ADB’s Pacific Department. Her experience spans nearly 30 years, ranging the fields of urban planning, water, wastewater, solid waste management, and project development—this includes 13 years with ADB. In her current role, she guides the team to focus on sustainable urban and water project delivery by working closely with governments and development partners on technical, safeguards, financial management, and procurement issues. Through collaboration with different divisions in the Pacific Department and ADB’s Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department (SDCC), she also drives the team forward by contributing to various initiatives, including ADB’s Healthy Oceans agenda. Previously, Jingmin led the processing and implementation of several urban loans and technical assistance projects in South Asia. She was also part of SDCC, responsible for urban initiatives such as ADB's sanitation and wastewater management revolution, the green city initiative, smart city initiative, and promoting the solid waste management sector. Prior to joining ADB, she was a lecturer at Oxford University in the United Kingdom, where she also received her PhD degree. |
