Mr Zhang Weijie is the Director for Energy & Climate Policy at the Ministry of Sustainability & the Environment. He works on climate change mitigation and adaptation, as well as energy efficiency policies.

Prior to this, Weijie was the Director for Strategy at the National Research Foundation of Singapore. He has also served in various government agencies, including the People’s Association and the Ministries of Education and Law.

Weijie is a Board member of SPD (formerly the Society for the Physically Disabled), which works towards the integration of people with disabilities into mainstream society. He has also cycled twice across the United States to support the fight against cancer.
