Shepherds the implementation of the Philippine Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC), and the development of the Philippine National Adaptation Plan (NAP), in the context of just transition and transformative climate actions grounded on innovation, inclusion and sustainability

Orchestrates the implementation of the Philippine National Framework Strategy on Climate Change and the National Climate Change Action Plan (NCCAP) pursuant to law, and steers the implementation of the National Climate Risk Management Framework through the whole of government and society approaches supporting climate resilience policy and investment planning decisions, including the needed multi-sectoral consultations to align climate science to appropriate adaptation and mitigation actions to inform and influence national and sub-national strategies and programs, especially on the areas of inclusive action and just transition.
