Frank Jotzo

Frank Jotzo is Professor of environmental economics at the Australian National University’s Crawford School of Public Policy, and Head of the Energy at ANU. His work includes applied research on instruments for climate change policy, especially the design and operation of carbon pricing. He has been involved in many policy research and advisory exercises, and has advised national and subnational governments, international organisations and businesses. He worked on a climate change strategy for Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance during 2010. Prof Jotzo is joint editor-in-chief of the journal Climate Policy and a Lead Author of Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change 5th and 6th Assessment Reports and member of the core writing group for the next IPCC Synthesis Report. He frequently writes and comments in the media and tweets @frankjotzo.
