Mobile Health for Non-communicable Diseases (Obesity, Diabetes, and Hypertension)

   Clinica Manila

The raging COVID-19 pandemic drills down the urgency to manage the steadily increasing prevalence of these non-communicable diseases as they are directly correlated to COVID’s morbidity and mortality. In fact, non- communicable diseases namely obesity, diabetes, and hypertension have continuously been among the top diseases that account for the country’s healthcare spending, more than COVID. Each one of us knows a family member, relative, colleague, friend with at least one of these conditions.

This session aims to share knowledge on the prevalence and impact of these diseases in our current society and how technology at the palm of your hand can be used to help systematically address this problem.
