Wellness at Work

This session highlights the various strategies, programs and technologies implemented at ADB headquarters that relate to wellness concepts on air, water, movement, materials, mind, and nutrition. These initiatives are based on the International WELL building standard which aims to focus on best practices in design and construction with evidence-based health and wellness interventions that encourage healthy, more active lifestyles and reduce occupant exposure to harmful chemicals and pollutants.

Ameen Joudah |
Dr. Ameen Joudah, Director, Corporate Workplace and Hospitality Division under the Corporate Services Department (CSD), is a national of the United Kingdom who has more than 30 years of experience in corporate services, capital projects, strategic/institutional initiatives, and enterprise solutions. He has held highly esteemed positions in a multilateral agency, and private and public sectors across several countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Austria, and Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining ADB, he was at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as Advisor for Corporate Services and Facilities for more than 6 years. Prior to that, he was the Head of Strategic Workplace Services at Hewlett-Packard for 19 years where he led corporate-wide transformations, innovations, and sustainable operations in workplace and corporate services across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
