Dean Fowles is a Global Travel Management professional and the Unit Head for Travel, under the Corporate Services Department (CSD).

He has over 24 years in travel management, with 16 years working in Asia managing markets globally. His expertise lies in agency and program consolidation, and automated tools implementation. Dean has launched travel management solutions in emerging and multiple markets throughout Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America.

In ADB, Dean implemented a major cost-cutting program that included revised airline and hotel contracts; expense reimbursement; and a new travel policy. He conducts Travel procurements and consistently improved agency operations (current in-plant agencies operate with 99% satisfaction without any complaints for months). Currently, the Travel Unit is working with other key stakeholders to streamline travel and expense reporting.
