Stressed? Sad? “Hangry”? Join our “happy hour” as we show you how to make scrumptious comfort food dishes that warm our souls and make our world “all well” again. Comfort food can be anything that soothes us – the soft, rich, or simple flavors that we crave – to find solace, or bring us back to safe feelings and spaces. It reminds us of home, of Mom’s or Nana’s cooking, of a sweet memory in our travels, of times with good friends. Happiness restored, one comfort food dish at a time.

Cynthia Castillejos Petalcorin or “Cindy” is Senior Economics Officer at ERMR-ERCD. She is part of the team that produces the ADB flagship publication, Asian Development Outlook, and other economic studies. Off work, cooking is her stress-reliever. She loves experimenting and concocting her own culinary creations or replicating the local food and drinks she has tried at home and in her travels. As a home chef, she takes great pride in being able to cook for the people she cares for.
