Speaker's Profile
 |
Grant Hauber |
Grant was ADB HQ staff from 2010 through 2016. After taking a 15-year break from biking, in 2014, at the age of 47, he starting riding again. Shortly after, he gave up driving to ADB and bike commuted daily. Grant is now an avid mountain and gravel biker who averages 150km per week, unable to decide whether he should take the road or the trail to wherever he is going. Now living in Boston in the US, Grant volunteers time on the advisory board of the regional planning commission, advising on transportation development issues with emphasis on alternative mobility. In order to get a first hand perspective of what commuters and resident face, Grant completed a comprehensive bike tour of the Greater Boston region, touching every square kilometer of its roughly 4000 sq km area.
