Currently Representative of the ADB European Representative Office, based in Frankfurt, Germany, Mr Schoellhammer has worked in all Asia-Pacific regions, with a focus on east and central Asia. Among others, he was ADB’s Country Director to Mongolia from 2011-2016, represented ADB at the Global Agriculture and Food Security Program, helped establish the Climate Investment Funds, and managed ADB’s business planning and budget framework. He also represented ADB at northeast and central Asian regional cooperation programs, and in the Mekong. Mr Schoellhammer joined ADB from the African Development Bank. Prior to this Mr Schoellhammer lectured in economics and managed projects. He holds degrees in development economics and agriculture from the universities of East Anglia and Aberdeen, in the UK
