| Stephen Zimmermann, Director of the Office of
Internal Audit and Investigations (OIAI) at UNICEF, will deliver a keynote
speech reflecting on the rich history of the Conference of International
Investigators (CII) and its profound impact on the global investigative
community. Zimmermann will trace the development of the CII from its inception,
highlighting pivotal moments that shaped its mission, strengthened
international cooperation, and enhanced standards of investigative practice. He
will also explore the evolving role of the CII in response to the changing
landscape of investigations, addressing the challenges and opportunities ahead
as the conference continues to serve as a forum for collaboration, learning,
and advancing integrity across organizations worldwide. His address will
conclude with a forward-looking perspective on the future of the CII and its
potential to adapt, innovate, and sustain its relevance in a rapidly shifting
global context. |
