Open Floor Exchange 7
Due Process in Investigations: Balancing Rights, Efficiency, and Confidentiality
Thursday, 14 November 2024 | 11:00–12:15 (GMT +8)
Auditorium Hall 4
This open floor exchange session invites
participants to discuss the challenges of balancing due process with the need
for efficient and confidential investigations. The discussion will focus on reconciling
the rights of individuals with investigative confidentiality, exploring the
concept of due process in administrative investigations, and determining
criteria for "Need-to-Know" access. Additionally, the session will
examine vicarious liability, where parties may be held responsible for the
actions of their employees, agents, or representatives, regardless of authorization.
Through practical case studies and interactive dialogue, participants will
explore how to navigate these complex issues while maintaining fairness and
transparency. |
