In her current role in ADB, Jinha focuses on the intersection of gender, climate change, and digital innovation. She brings over 15 years of experience in international development, having held diverse roles across gender, regional cooperation, program management, and thematic focal points covering gender, youth, and human rights. Her technical expertise spans gender equality, inclusive governance, livelihoods, and sustainable development.
Jinha began her career at the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Executive Directorate in New York and deepened her focus on gender, human rights, and climate change through her roles at the United Nations Development Programme and the Global Green Growth Institute. She has worked on integrating gender considerations into climate action, governance, and digital transformation initiatives across Asia and the Pacific.
A national of the Republic of Korea, Jinha holds a master’s degree in public policy from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management and a master’s degree in Chinese Literature from Fudan University.
