Jamie Naval

Circularity Manager, Anthill Fabric Gallery 

Jamie is passionate about utilizing design to address textile waste while generating sustainable livelihood for women, particularly in her role in Anthill Fabric Gallery. Anthill is a social and cultural enterprise dedicated to preserving Philippine weaving traditions and creating sustainable livelihoods by celebrating and elevating Filipino culture through contemporary and circular design. She is also the Founder and Chief Toymaker of TenTwenty Kids, an earth-loving and educational toy brand for kids using upcycled textiles with the help of partner artisan nanays (mothers). 

Jamie graduated from the University of the Philippines with a degree in BS Clothing Technology and studied Textile Design from the University of the Arts London - Central Saint Martins. She was a YSEALI Professional Fellow for Economic Empowerment, a Professional Exchange Fellow at the Women’s Business Center of North Carolina, and an ASEAN Foundation SEDP 3 Fellow. Her big vision is to create a greener and bluer earth through inclusive sustainable solutions.
