This is the first ever conference on the circular economy in ADB.
Together, let's reduce plastic pollution in Asia and the Pacific and advance toward a circular economy.

With a theme of “Advancing a Circular Economy for a Sustainable Future”, the Circular Economy Forum 2025 is a platform for the wider adoption of the circular economy (CE) approach in investments and initiatives in Asia and the Pacific, as presented in the Environment Action Plan 2024–2030 of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This will also be a culmination of the regional technical assistance Promoting Action on Plastic Pollution from Source to Sea in Asia and the Pacific.

The forum will feature keynote presentations from inspiring speakers, relevant case studies and best practices, and updates and plans relating to international agreements such as the anticipated Global Plastics Treaty. Together with plenary sessions, the event will consist of three thematic tracks that are essential for accelerating the circular economy: Enabling Conditions, Digitalization and Innovation, and Digitalization of the Plastic Value Chain.
