This form confirms that all participants agree to keep young people safe during the Asia and the Pacific Youth Symposium 2021 and engage with them in a meaningful way throughout the event. A set of guidelines and procedures on youth safeguarding have been established and all participants are required to adhere to the following code of conduct.

In the context of the Asia and the Pacific Youth Symposium 2021, the organizers and participants will:

• Treat young people with dignity and respect at all times;
• Be sensitive to young people’s age, gender, ethnicity, background, sexuality, religion, and other important personal characteristics;
• Treat and engage with all young people as equal partners, despite of their personal characteristics;
• Never participate in any behaviour towards young people that may be illegal, unsafe and abusive;
• Familiarize themselves with the youth safeguarding documents and procedures for the event;
• Report any suspicions or allegations immediately;

This form confirms that all participants agree to be recorded during the Asia and the Pacific Youth Symposium 2021 event activities and permits the Organizers to use some or all of their image/contribution/performance in any publication (including electronic publications such as films or websites) created by or for the Organizers and to release this material to other parties. The Organizers own all copyright to intellectual property, such research outputs and recordings, and the participants will not seek any financial compensation of any type associated with it.

Participants grant organizers of the APYS royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive, fully-transferable license and right to use data/image/contribution/performance gathered through the different symposium channels and activities (including but not limited to research, online surveys, polls, and session recordings) to reproduce, translate, distribute, and display content (ensuring respondent anonymity) either alone or as part of other works in any form related to the delivery of APYS outputs. I discharge organizers from all demands and causes of actions.

This form confirms that all participants of the Asia and the Pacific Youth Symposium 2021 are aware of their rights, under the Philippine laws, in connection to sharing their personal information with the organizers. A set of guidelines and procedures on data privacy protection have been established and all participants are required to read the Data Privacy Policy of the Asia Pacific Youth Symposium.

The APYS 2021 will have 3 Knowledge Sessions with themes under Climate Change, Health and Wellness, and Youth Economic Empowerment that will be delivered in a mixture of Synchronous and Asynchronous Sessions on August 16 to 20, 2021 and a consultation session on August 23, 2021.
